Working with you on a one to one basis during pregnancy, gives FitMama the opportunity to better understand your body and focus on issues specifically related to you. Although group classes are great, private sessions are the most effective way of ensuring you meet your goals, repair any existing injuries, and learn more about how your body responds to exercise, nutrition and mental de-stressing.

Private sessions are not just about exercise. We offer Muscle Stress Release methods, as well as nutritional counselling. Your session may incorporate one of these services, or a combination of all the above.
You will exercise for about 30 mins per session during pregnancy or postnatal time, as this is the safest optimal duration to exercise on a 1:1 basis. Classes are longer as there are more frequent breaks to cater for maternal fatigue.
We also offer sessions to help with fear of birth and breathing techniques to help you cope with the worries you may have about labour and delivery, particularly if you have had difficult outcomes previously
Worried about losing your pre-pregnancy fitness?
If you've trained hard most of your life, and are in peak fitness at the outset of your pregnancy, we cater for women who wish to continue with this focus and really use their fitness to manage pregnancy and birth.
